I was totally surprised at the amount of people that had problems sleeping.

Instead of watching the Videos, I created a cheat sheet/tips that you can use everyday that will help you fall asleep.

Some of the videos may have some of these tips, but i wanted to list them so that you have an arsenal or a list of things to do before you go to bed. 


1) Set a concrete time to go to bed every night.  (Create a sleep routine).

 If you create a routine your body will begin to fall asleep at a certain time. Program it and sleep.


2) Stop eating an hour before you go to be, and turn the TV off.  (Wind down prepare for bed)


3) Complete everything on your schedule, so that you mind is clear of family issues, work etc.

( Your mind may stop you from sleeping being active)


4) The BED. If you prefer a softer mattress, or more less soft, purchase the mattress that makes you comfortable. 


5) Create comfort in your bedroom. Decorate your bedroom to make if comfortable and pleasing.


6) Journaling. If you have thoughts in your mind and your mind is active,  grab your journal and write until your mind is empty. 

This works great if you have stuff on your heart and mind. 


7) Only Sleep in your bed. Some people watch tv, play games, and do other activities on their bed.

Only sleep on your bed.

 Your mind will begin to recognize that when you lay down it is time to sleep.

 

8) Change your sleep position. If you sleep on your back and are not getting sleep, then sleep on your left and right side. 


9) Play soft relaxing music. If Jazz or soft rock or any type of music makes you relax, play that music softly in the back ground. 

As you focus on it you may fall asleep.


10) Keep your room cool.  Most of the time when your room is warm or hot, it is very difficult to sleep. 

Purchase a small fan and it may help you to get cooler.
